Day 1:
Theory:
RJ45 Connector with CAT5 & 6 cables, explaining a switch, IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, Power class of switches and budget, SFP’s and fibre single and multi-mode, redundant layer 2 functionality, VLAN and setup, star and ring configurations, TCP/IP, DHCP & ports, Subnet, Multicast, QoS, SNMP, LAG – Port trunking, Netgear and TP-Link switches.
Practical:
How to setup a Netgear switch, How to use the switch, use extra functions like cable tester, Connect a star configuration setup & VLAN, LAG and QoS.
